Black Violin - July 24

Thursday, July 24

8:00 pm @ Frontier Stage

Black Violin, formed by Kev Marcus and Wil Baptiste, blends classical strings with hip-hop beats to challenge stereotypes and unite audiences. They rose to fame after winning Showtime at the Apollo in 2005 and have since sold out venues like The Kennedy Center. With two Grammy nominations and around 200 shows a year—many for underserved youth—they promote music education through their nonprofit, the Black Violin Foundation.
