The ABC Crochet Club is a group of friends who started getting together at their workplace to

crochet together. The ABC Crochet Club meets almost every Thursday, and they participate in local craft shows. Stop by to watch these talented ladies as they demonstrate their craft!

Look for the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, Bishop's Peak Chapter in the Ponderosa Pavilion. Join them for a special presentation and visit a great display, connect with other stitchers, and view demonstrations. Limited free supplies to get started stitching!

Jeff Edwards has won numerous “Best of Show” and “Judges Awards” throughout his years of entries at the California Mid-State Fair. Jeff returns to the Ponderosa Pavilion again this year to reveal his ‘Best of Show’ strategy and with a little audience participation, will show you how easy and fun creating a dinner place setting can be just by using everyday household products.

12 noon to 8pm – Central Coast Weavers & Spinners Guild

The Central Coast Weavers have been active in the county for 60 years. Members will bring a variety of activities to the Fair, demonstrating spinning on a variety of spindles and spinning wheels. Weaving will be limited to small looms – rigid heddle, pin looms, inkle looms, band weaving – as well as braiding techniques. They will have a small loom all set up for you to weave on, especially fun for the kids!

Ann started knitting when she was 9 years old in her 4-H Club in Big Horn, Wyoming, and has continued to knit for almost 60 years. She taught knitting for several years and continues to participate in Craft Fairs. Ann will be showing off her knitting skills for you from 4 to 8pm in the Ponderosa Pavilion.

12 noon to 6pm – Cambria 4-H Club Cupcake Decorating for Kids

Cambria 4-H club is doing a demonstration of how to decorate cupcakes at the Ponderosa Pavilion on Kids Day! They will include baking principles and kitchen safety. You will learn different techniques and decorating ideas! It will be OUT OF THIS WORLD!

12 noon to 4pm – Seed Mosaic Art

Come to Farm Alley and enjoy some mosaic art using seeds and grains. There will be lots of fun picture choices for you to pick from. This is a ‘make and take’ project that the whole family can enjoy. Have time to make two? Donate your art for our mosaic art paper quilt display.

“We are the Central Coast Weavers, a fiber arts group that has been active in the county for 60 years. Our members are weavers, spinners, and dyers. We will bring a variety of our activities to the Fair, demonstrating spinning on a variety of spindles and spinning wheels. 12 noon to 4pm – PM Creations Paper Crafts with Patty Mongolo

Patty Mongolo’s business is PM Creations; she will be sharing her skills by demonstrating card making using "1, 2, 3 Easy Peasy Cardmaking". All participants will be able to "Make and Take" or "Make and Donate" a Birthday, Hello, or Thinking of You card. All supplies will be provided. Any cards donated will be sent to ‘Cards for Soldiers’, a program that collects cards that are sent overseas to various places for deployed Troops to have access to cards to send home to family and friends.
