City-to-City Shuttles

American Star Trailways is pleased to offer their patrons the opportunity to catch a ride from San Luis Obispo to the 2018 California Mid-State Fair! Get your tickets ahead of time, park your car at one of the designated stops and hop on the bus! You'll be dropped off right in front of the Paso Robles Event Center, and then returned to your car when the fun is done! View the city-to-city shuttle schedule »

Local Shuttles

The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to once again offer its patrons the opportunity to park off-site for free and then catch a free ride to the Fair! Look for the American Star Trailways buses operating daily from Noon-Midnight. Make sure you park your vehicle in a designated location ONLY and then hop on the free shuttle.

Paso Express For residents and visitors staying in Paso Robles, the Paso Express serves the Mid-State Fair from noon to 5pm each day.

  • Route A, coming from Dry Creek Apartments, Creston@Sherwood, or Creston@Nickerson: arrives to Mid-State Fair at 3 minutes after each hour.
  • Route B, coming from Paso Robles High School, Pine@8th, or Oak Park Public Housing: arrives to Mid-State Fair at 47 minutes after each hour.

RTA Route 9 For those willing and able to walk or bike the last mile from Pine@8th St., Route 9 serves riders coming from San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, and Templeton, and operates between noon and 6pm (later on week days).
