Junior Fairboard

The California Mid-State Fair Junior Fairboard consists of young people between 16 and 24 years of age living in San Luis Obispo County who are looking to volunteer their time to a community event. Junior Fairboard members assist with the day-to-day operations of the annual California Mid-State Fair, including events such as the Diaper Derby, Tricycle Races, and any other events we may be asked to assist with by fair staff.

In addition, members help in the livestock area during the week of shows assisting the livestock department in various jobs, weigh in and auction day, act as ushers in the Main Grandstand and may be asked to obtain market research from fairgoers.
