Join us Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6:00 pm on Frontier Stage to see who is crowned the next Miss CMSF Queen and Court! This show is free with your paid Fair Admission.


Neelan Adams is 17 years old, from Paso Robles, and a graduate of the Design School of Cosmetology. She enjoys crocheting, sewing, embroidery, working on her car, baking, drawing, and drumming. She is part of Creston 4-H, Golden State Classics Car Club, and was also part of the Singing Hands Children’s Choir and Performing Arts. She’s won numerous awards in many areas including 1st place within the Still Exhibits departments at the California Mid-State Fair. Her accomplishments include graduating High School by the age of 16 and graduating Cosmetology School by 17. For her talent, she will perform Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” in American Sign Language. Her Fair Proposal is to provide a safe and quiet place for children to decompress. Five words that describe her are effervescent, curious, instinctual, meticulous, expressive.

Samantha Hoffman is 19 years old, from Atascadero, and is attending Cuesta College majoring in Welding. She enjoys livestock showing and judging, photography, fishing, welding, fabrication, baking, and swimming. She is the Cerro Alto 4-H Beef Leader, worked on the Junior Fair Board for the California Mid-State Fair, and a Girl Scout. She was the 2023 Beef Champion Showman for 4-H Field Day, Best of Show in 2023 at Salinas Valley Fair in Photography, and has won numerous awards in livestock judging. For her talent, she will be making art with balloons while telling family friendly jokes. Her Fair Proposal is titled ‘Blue Collar Basics’ and will be discussing and showing the different trade and agricultural careers that are available. Five words that describe her are spirited, determined, passionate, loyal, and supportive.

Ashlee Holt is 18 years old, from Paso Robles, and in the Fall will be Sophomore at Baylor University. She enjoys playing water polo, swimming, photography, raising animals for 4-H and FFA, being a lifeguard and a swim instructor for the City of Paso Robles, and meeting new people. She is part of the Baylor Club Water Polo Team, and was also part of the Paso Robles High School Water Polo Team and Swim Team. She is a Scholar Athlete, College and Career Exemplar, Top 10% of her class, and received a Child Development Associate Teacher Credential. For her talent, she will be doing a short presentation of the three key points of water safety for children of all ages. Ashlee’s Fair Proposal is to focus on helping and assisting those on Senior’s Day by providing the best experience for them. Five words that describe her are caring, trustworthy, passionate, outgoing, and respectful.

Chelsea Hoyt is 17 years old, from Paso Robles and in the fall she will be Senior at Paso Robles High School. She enjoys baking, going to the beach, hiking, reading, and photography. She volunteers at Escuela del Rio, a school dedicated to adults with different types of learning disabilities, as well as part of Bearkittens, which is a preschool program at Paso Robles High School that allows students to educate children in a preschool setting. Chelsea is a high honor roll student, CPR certified, received the Most Valued Volunteered Award at Escuela del Rio, and a Floral Student. For her talent, she will design a floral arrangement. Her Fair Proposal is to create a zone dedicated to children to feel less overstimulated while increasing their fine motor skills through simple activities. Five words that describe her are ambitious, adventurous, responsible, creative, and grateful.

Kiana Keogh 17 years old, from Paso Robles, and will be a Senior at Paso Robles High School. She enjoys four wheeling, weight lifting, and online shopping. She is part of the Paso Robles High School FFA Livestock Judging Team, CA Water Issues CDE Team, and a member of the LCC Worship Band. Kiana has won numerous awards including the Greenhand Degree, Chapter Degree, Golden State FFA Degree, and the Paso Robles FFA Chapter Reporter. For her talent, she will provide a brief explanation about livestock judging and its importance. Her Fair Proposal is to focus on growing the number of entries for Still Exhibits. Five words that describe her are charismatic, caring, strong, confident and ambitious.


Emily McNeal is 17 years old, from Paso Robles, and will be a Senior at Paso Robles High School. Her hobbies and talents include swimming and diving, baking, art, dancing, and floral design. She is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club and is the Vice President, the Paso Robles High School Floral Club, FFA, and Life Savers and Red Cross Club. She holds many awards and special achievements including the Paso Robles High School Dive Team Captain, Athlete of the Week, a 4.0 unweighted GPA all years, and in AP and Honors classes. For her talent, she will be dancing a lyrical/contemporary piece to ‘Rescue’ by Lauren Daigle that she choreographed herself. Her Fair Proposal will be a focus on improving children’s reading and literacy levels of the students in the community and partnering with schools to provide a free admission to those students. Megan Pagnini is 18 years old, from Paso Robles, and in the Fall, will be returning to the University of Arizona as a Sophomore. She enjoys singing, dancing, acting, cheerleading, spending time with her dog, family, and friends, and traveling. She was part of the Paso Robles High School Advanced Choir, Theatre, Cheer and Stunt Team, as well as Advanced Dance, and Professional Achievements in Nursing Club. She’s won an AP Scholar Award, is a two time all American Cheerleader, and on the Dean’s Honor Roll at the University of Arizona. For her talent, she will be singing ‘Wide Open Spaces’ by the Chicks. Her Fair Proposal is titled ‘Get Home Safe’ and is to ensure the participants of the California Mid-State Fair get home safely and educate them on the effects drunk driving can have on themselves and others. Five words that describe her are curious, determined, generous, courageous and witty.


Vanessa Pinedo is 18 years old, from Paso Robles and in the Fall, will be a Sophomore at Cuesta College. Her hobbies and interests include playing Club Soccer, hiking, being involved in the community, and dancing Mexican style music such as banda, huapangos, and folklorico. She was involved in the Mecha Club at Paso Robles High School, the Activist Coalition of Tomorrow Club, AVID, and volunteering for Toys4Tots/Coats4Kids for the past 6 years and volunteering for the Boys & Girls Club for the past 4 years. She has received the Seal of Biliteracy, the Seal of Civic Engagement, and the Local Oak Park Scholarship. For her talent, she will be dancing a traditional style dance to Mexican music. Vanessa’s Fair Proposal is to get children involved with showing animals at the Fair and to provide a way for low income children to experience this opportunity. Five words that describe her are persistent, disciplined, compassionate and determined.


Logan Rutherford is 21 years old, from Paso Robles and is a 2024 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Her hobbies and interests include raising and showing pigs, racing and working on sprint cars, riding horses, woodworking, and caring for and tending to sick or injured livestock. She is a past 4-H Club Swine Leader. She has many awards and achievements including being the owner of 805 Swine; a show pig breeding business, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 3 years. For her talent, she will be talking about the intricacies of a sprint car and discussing various aspects about her passion. Her Fair Proposal titled ‘Agriculture For All’ will provide an interactive informational booth set in the livestock area with various activities allowing all kids to gain information on how to get involved within the 4-H/FFA department in their area. Five words that describe her are resilient, dedicated, passionate, approachable, and competitive.


Hailey Terrell is 17 years old, from Templeton, and will be a Senior at Atascadero High School this Fall. Her hobbies include horseback riding, cheerleading, breeding, raising, and showing dairy goats, track and field, and dirt bike riding. She’s been a member of Atascadero FFA, Atascadero High School Stunt Team, and Cheerleading Team. She has won the FFA Greenhand Degree, FFA State Degree, Eagle Award, Outstanding FFA Treasurer, and top 5 in Advanced Goat Showmanship at the California Mid-State Fair. Her talent will be demonstrating the care and management of a goat herd. Hailey’s Fair Proposal is titled “Hands-On Ag” which will bring children together to get more involved with showing and raising animals as well as discovering agricultural jobs that are available for their future. Five words that describe her are honest, determined, compassionate, joyful and ambitious.


Bailey Van Huss is 19 years old, from Templeton, and in the fall will be a Sophomore at Cuesta College. She enjoys blacksmithing, welding, diesel mechanics,showing livestock, photography, and gold panning. She has been involved with Templeton 4-H for 14 years and is also part of The Central Coast Gold Prospectors since 2010. Bailey has won numerous 1st and 2nd place awards showing dogs in the 4-H program, was a member of the Templeton FFA welding team, and has her Green Hand Degree from Templeton FFA. For her talent, she will be explaining pieces of gold prospecting history, past & current equipment used, prospecting methods, and examples and knowledge of gold itself. Her Fair Proposal is to have an area near the Livestock barns where the showman and their families can go that is for them to relax and take a break away from the public . Five words that describe her are creative, mechanical, curious, undeterred, protective.
