Get ready! The Viva La Quebradita Tour is coming to the California Mid-State Fair on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 7:30 PM in the Chumash Grandstand Arena. The night will feature an electric lineup of regional Mexican favorites: El Mexicano, Arkangel R-15, and Ezequiel Peña Jr. y Su Vallarta.
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will be available online at www.MidStateFair.com and Ticketmaster.com.
Ticket prices are $40 and $50 (reserved seating). Grandstand Arena shows do not include Fair admission, which must be purchased separately.

Viva La Quebradita is a high-energy celebration of the classic Mexican quebradita music and dance movement -known for its fusion of technobanda, danceable rhythms, and flashy footwork. This tour brings together legendary acts who helped shape the genre alongside new voices carrying the torch for a new generation.
Artist Lineup:
El Mexicano – Known as one of the original ambassadors of technobanda, El Mexicano blends cumbia, banda, and norteño influences into a signature sound that has defined generations of regional Mexican music. Their hits like “Ramito de Violetas” and “Feliz, Feliz” remain staples at parties, rodeos, and dance halls across the globe.
Arkangel R-15 – As pioneers of quebradita in the ‘90s, Arkangel R-15 brought high-energy horns and danceable beats to the forefront of Mexican popular music. With tracks like “Bailame Suavito” and “La Quebradita”, they helped ignite a cultural movement that swept through both sides of the border.
Ezequiel Peña Jr. y Su Vallarta – Carrying on the legacy of his iconic father, charro and singer Ezequiel Peña, Ezequiel Peña Jr. brings youthful energy to classic Mexican traditions. With his band Su Vallarta, Peña Jr. blends charro elegance with modern technobanda rhythms in a dynamic, crowd-pleasing performance.
