(PASO ROBLES, CA) – The California Mid-State Fair is excited to announce that G. Love & Special Sauce will open for David Lee Roth on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Chumash Grandstand Arena. Tickets are on sale now at MidStateFair.com.
G. Love & Special Sauce is known for their genre-blending sound that fuses hip-hop, blues, funk, and soul into a laid-back, groove-heavy style. Formed in 1993 in Philadelphia, the band gained national attention with their hit “Cold Beverage” and quickly became staples of the alternative music scene. Their style has been described as a mix of “slacker blues” and “alternative hip-hop,” frequently incorporating 90s hip-hop beats with classic blues rhythms. With a loyal fan base, numerous albums—including the GRAMMY-nominated The Juice—and appearances at top festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, the band continues to impress with high-energy performances and genre-defying musical flair.
David Lee Roth’s headlining performance and G. Love & Special Sauce’s dynamic opening set promise a night of unforgettable entertainment at the California Mid-State Fair.
