Celebrate Cattlemen & Farmers Day at the 2025 California Mid-State Fair

PASO ROBLES, CA – The California Mid-State Fair is proud to honor the hard-working men and women of San Luis Obispo County’s agriculture community during Cattlemen & Farmers Day on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

A longstanding tradition at the Fair, Cattlemen & Farmers Day recognizes the vital contributions of Cattlemen, CattleWomen, Farmers, Vintners, and others whose dedication helps put food and drink on our tables.

Event highlights include:

• Social Hour at 4:00 PM inside the Paso Robles Pavilion
• BBQ Steak Dinner at 5:00 PM
• Award Presentations at 6:00 PM
• Live Music by Monte Mills & The Lucky Horseshoe Band at 7:00 PM on the Mission Square Stage
• Concerts: Jon Pardi in the Chumash Grandstand Arena (7:30 PM) and Stephen Pearcy on the Frontier Stage (8:00 PM)

Earlier in the day, guests can enjoy:

• Junior Gymkhana* at 8:30 AM (Hearst Equestrian Center) *New Day!
• Commercial Cattle Pens Judging at 9:00 AM (Paso Robles Pavilion)
• Industrial Arts Awards & Auction at 12:00 PM (Livestock Pavilion)

• BBQ Steak Dinner: $30 pre-sale / $40 at the door (subject to availability)
• Daily Admission Ticket: $8 pre-sale (save $7 off the gate price of $15)

The California Mid-State Fair runs July 16 through July 27, 2025 and this year’s theme is “Off to the Races!”
