PASO ROBLES (CA) – The 2017 California Mid-State Fair has turned up the fun meter for this summer with the Fun Zone featuring free all-day entertainment and wild amusements for the full run of this year’s Fair July 19-30, 2017.
Located on the northwest end of the fairgrounds, the Fun Zone features fee-based amusements including mechanical bull riding, Walk on Water, rock wall climbing and the Sling Shot ride in addition to Jimmy’s Water Hole, the nightly KJUG Barn Dance and the Headliner Stage.
The Headliner Stage will host performances by local youth dance troupes (July 19-29) and the Zoo to You animal show (July 20-29). Additionally, talented locals will showcase their talents in the Albertsons Talent Show on Opening Day, Friday, July 19 at 5:00 pm and the burliest at the Fair will be crowned in the first-ever California Mid-State Fair Strongest Man & Woman Conteston closing day, Sunday, July 30 starting at 1:00 pm.
