Home Wine Entries Being Accepted

PASO ROBLES- The California Mid-State Fair is now accepting entries for the annual Home Wine Competition. Continuing with the success of last year, the competition will be held on May 6, 2010. Entry forms are due by April 16, 2010 and entry guidelines are available on-line at www.midstatefair.com.

Wines can be received from Friday, April 23rd through Friday, April 30th, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Fair’s main office at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles. Wine bottles must be labeled. If there is not a decorative label, then a plain label with participant name, the varietal, vintage and any other pertinent information should be included.

The judging will be held May 6, 2010. Participants will be invited to a home wine tasting at the Fairgrounds from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm the day of the judging, which is sponsored by 15 degrees C Wine Shop & Bar.
