Monster Truck Showdown

The monster truck event will be featuring some of the biggest monster trucks from all over the country, featuring tailgate-ripping wheelie contests, full-throttle side-by-side racing competitions, and the fan favorite: let-it-all-hang-out freestyle contest. Monster trucks will be coming from near and far to compete in high-flying, car-crushing action, as "young gun" Steve Hill brings his creation, "Monkey'n Around" all the way from Dunnellon, Florida. Hill, at the ripe old age of 21, is already a 5-year veteran of the sport! Also competing out of Hill's stable, "Triple Threat Racing", will be "Outtacontrol", a truly wicked-looking Dodge.

Joining them will be two monster trucks known all over the world, the former World Finals Champion "Bounty Hunter", and it’s teammate, the powerful and dominating “Iron Outlaw”, both from the 2Xtreme Racing Team based in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Rounding out the lineup will be 2 defending home-turf trucks, "The Patriot" and "Tropical Thunder", owned by Dan Rodoni and based out of Santa Cruz, California. This means fans will be treated to a show that's truly East Coast vs. West Coast and some in-between! Boasting upwards of 1500 horsepower each, that's over 7500 horses in one show!

Included in your ticket is admission to the "Pre-show party", your chance to meet the monster truck drivers, get their autographs, check out their massive rides up close and take all the pictures you like. The "Pre-show party" will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and will also offer rides on the "Alien Attack" monster truck, a truly out-of-this-world experience for kids of all ages. Rides are only $5 and one of the thrilling experiences at this year's Fair that should be on your "to-do" list! The show will be followed with an autograph session as well so you can give your feedback to the drivers and let them know how much you enjoyed the show!
